Surrounded by the mountain range Inovec and Tríbeč, the town Topoľčianky spreads itself in the valley of river Žitava. It has a very rich history with first written record in historical documents from the year 1293. Preserved monuments, beautiful countryside, and existing companies as well as hospitability of local people make this town a perfect tourist destination. You can visit a spacious English park in the northern part of the town, where you can find the national monument; Topoľčianky Manor, Hunting castle, riding ring, stables with horses and other attractive things.

Manor House Topoľčianky
The monumental classicistic manor with 3 renaissance wings is a national historical landmark. It can be found within an English park of 50ha area. It was the residence of family lines of Topoľčianky, the Rakoczi, the Zichy, the Keglevich and the Habsburg. From 1918 to 1951 it was the summer residence of Czechoslovak presidents. One of the classicistic wings is a museum of historical furniture, weapons, porcelain and historical library. Other three renaissance wings with mansard roof serve as a hotel and are furnished in contemporary style. The paintings decorating the lounges are comprised of originals and copies of paintings from the Pitti gallery in Florence. The ceramics collection is one of the largest ones in Slovakia.

Hunting castle Topoľčianky
Hunting castle Topoľčianky of the former owner Oto Von Habsburg is set near the manor house within the park. Apartments in the castle are furnished with historical furniture and complimentary accessories. The dining-hall is on the first floor, which holds up to 42 seats to dine. The surroundings of the manor are perfect for organized hunting, tourism, fishing, and barbecuing in the country.
Horse-breeding farm
The national horse-breeding farm Topoľčianky is one of the most prominent and most important ones in Europe. It can be rightfully called a cultural heritage of the nation. Four breeds are bread here: Lipican, Shagia Arabian, Hucul horse, and Slovak Warmblood. Villages Breziny, Rybník, Krásny Majer or Hostie are places where one can still today see these beautiful horses roam. Part of the farm is also a museum of horses with a large collection of interesting exhibits.

Bison game preserve
The game preserve was established in 1958. Its function was to help save the Bison mountainous, before its extinction, because in the time of its establishment only 150 Bison were alive. The preserve has an area of 140 ha. Its breeding part is divided into 4 zones where the bison live in turns. The preserve has breaded over 120 stocks. According to an international agreement all the bison from this farm have their names starting with the syllable Si – ex.: Sivko, Sibirka, Silan, Silvo etc. At present the number of bison bread in captivity has surpassed the critical point. This preserve also plays an important role in this process.
